What we Believe PDF Print E-mail
Written by Stan Johnson

We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ as the only begotten Son of God.  We believe in His death, burial, and physical resurrection from the dead.

We believe all Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness.

We believe “And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent.”

We believe there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the Man Christ Jesus

We believe God was in His Son reconciling man back to Himself.

We believe God has a Spirit called the Holy Spirit and Jesus commands all believers to be baptized into the Holy Spirit and fire. This experience happened at Pentecost and is happening today to those who are born again and by faith receive the experience which empowers them to witness and be able to demonstrate the Spirit and power of God.

We believe that the Spirit of Jesus Christ must dwell in a person for them to have eternal life. This is called a mystery that has been hidden.

We believe that our body is the Temple of God, the Temple of the Holy Spirit,  and the Temple for the Spirit of Jesus Christ to live and manifest through.

We believe to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord if you are a believer.

We believe a non-believer that dies goes into Hell and is tormented until Hell has to give up the people in it to stand before God to be judged for their sins and then will be cast into a lake of fire to be tormented forever.

We believe Satan rebelled against God and led 1/3 of God’s Angels in the rebellion and they are going to be cast into the lake of fire that was prepared for them as their eternal punishment. The lake of fire was not created for mankind but for Satan and his Angels. Everyone who rejects Jesus Christ as their only way to Father God will also be cast into the lake of fire.

We believe without the shedding of blood (Jesus Christ, the Lamb of God) there is no remission of sin and hope of eternal life.

We believe God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

We believe all men are born with a sinful nature and that the work of the Cross was to redeem man from the power of sin, sickness, and disease.  We believe that this salvation is available to all who will receive it.

We believe you can taste Christ  by calling on His name like the thief on the cross and go to heaven, but God’s plan is for Jesus Christ to be formed in you line upon line, precept upon precept, here a little, there a little. You can then  live this life by the faith that was in Him while He was walking and ministering on this earth 2000 years ago. He said the works that He did we would do also.

We believe All authority has been given to Jesus Christ in heaven and on earth and we are to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to do all the things He taught the disciples while He walked on this earth ministering to the multitudes.

We believe in the scripture as the inspired Word of God and that it is the complete revelation of God's will for mankind.  We believe in the absolute authority of the scripture to govern the affairs of men.

We believe in the promise of Genesis 12:3 regarding the Jewish people and the nation of Israel. We believe that this is an eternal covenant between God and the seed of Abraham to which God is faithful.

We believe that every believer has a unique relationship to the Lord. As His children, every Christian has immediate access to the throne of Grace and the ability to manifest the power of the Lord Jesus Christ in ministry.

We believe that signs are to follow believers as mentioned in the great commission in Mark 16:16-18.
